Development of Tourist Infrastructure in Murighiol 

"CREATING LEISURE INFRASTRUCTURE IN THE MURIGHIOL TOURIST AREA"

UThe Administrative Territorial Unit Murighiol Commune, as Beneficiary, is implementing Phase II of the project "Creation of leisure infrastructure in the Murighiol tourist area", MySMIS code 328735, financed through the South-East Regional Programme 2021–2027, Priority: P6. An attractive region, Policy Objective / Specific Objective: RSO5.2, Operation: Action 6.2 Capitalization of tourism potential and heritage conservation in non-urban areas, Fund: ERDF, Project Call: PR/SE/2024/Stage/6.2/ITI. The total value of the project for Phase II of implementation is 8,320,018.21 lei, of which the non-reimbursable amount is 7,470,378.58 lei. In Phase I of implementation, the project was also financed through the Regional Operational Programme 2014–2020, Priority Axis 7: Diversification of local economies through sustainable tourism development, Investment Priority 7.1: Supporting employment-friendly growth by developing endogenous potential as part of a territorial strategy for certain areas, including reconversion of declining industrial regions, as well as increasing accessibility and developing specific natural and cultural resources (investments in tourism infrastructure).

General Objective of the project:
To support employment-friendly growth in the implementation area, namely UAT Murighiol, by:

  • Developing endogenous potential as part of a territorial strategy
  • Increasing accessibility and developing specific natural and cultural resources
  • Creating leisure tourism infrastructure, including related utilities

Specific Objectives:

  1. Development of docking infrastructure – connection canal to the Danube: arranged area = 1,020 sqm
  2. Development of docking infrastructure – Murighiol Lake
    • Bank arrangement: arranged area = 3,775 sqm
    • Canal arrangement: arranged area = 7,200 sqm
  3. Development of platform: built area = 1,551.52 sqm
  1. Administrative space: built area = 185.84 sqm
  2. Amphitheater: built area = 407.00 sqm
  3. Sports field: built area = 684.00 sqm
  4. Playgrounds: arranged area = 350.00 sqm
  5. Activity center: arranged area = 100.00 sqm
  6. Sensory garden: arranged area = 100.00 sqm
  7. Observation tower: built area = 31.68 sqm, arranged area = 16,243.48 sqm
  8. Recreational spaces: total built area = 243.00 sqm
    • Type 1: 2 × 49.5 sqm
    • Type 2: 2 × 50.00 sqm
    • Type 3: 1 × 44.00 sqm
  9. Pedestrian alleys and bicycle lanes: total arranged area = 5,140.00 sqm
  • Car-accessible pedestrian alleys = 970.00 sqm
  • Bicycle lane = 970.00 sqm
  • Pedestrian circulation alleys = 3,200.00 sqm

Green spaces: arranged area = 10,455.08 sqm
Utility spaces: arranged area = 36.00 sqm
Other designated spaces: arranged area = 62.40 sqm

Within these areas, 12 wooden pergolas will be built, with a total area of 300.00 sqm.
